La neige dans l'Est

A day trip out east

The atmosphere

Godafoss in all its minus 10 elegance

Arrival in Húsavík! Whale watching capital of Iceland (with the exception of this day)

Intense Narwhal horn in Húsavík Whale Museum

Húsavík Natural History Museum, at the Culture House.

There was an exhibition on 20th century Icelandic Culture.

....I can't attest to that

Simple lives encouraged a home crafting industry

Icelandic symbolism

Feeding the seals

Alien Invaders

A Parliament of Owls

Onwards and eastwards to Ásbyrgi, capital of the Huldafólk.

A natural canyon, snow was ambling in the sky when we got there. Such was the magic!

Atop the escarpment

Ptarmigan and foxes were spotted, however the resident geirfalcon was absent.

I have to come back in summer.
